Campaign Heading Down the Homestretch — FDU NOW Builds Foundation for the Future

FDU NOW, The Campaign for Fairleigh Dickinson University, has exceeded $44 million toward its $50-million target. “FDU NOW is nearing its goal, and we are expecting to conclude the campaign later this year,” said Rick Reiss, senior vice president for University advancement.

Reiss added that FDU NOW has raised more money than any campaign in FDU’s history, “a fact that well demonstrates the dedication of our alumni and friends. We’re extremely grateful for the tremendous support we have received, and we’re excited about the impact these gifts are already having.”

As a result of FDU NOW, there are dozens of new scholarships, new endowed chairs and other exceptional opportunities for learning. There is an impressive new indoor track in the Stratis Arena at the Metropolitan Campus’ George and Phyllis Rothman Center, and soon the University will begin construction on new baseball facilities — The Naimoli Family Baseball Complex — on the Metropolitan Campus and The Monninger Center for Learning and Research at the College at Florham.

Gifts to FDU NOW support a range of University initiatives including scholarships, nursing, athletics and programs for adult learners, pre-college students and educators.

“FDU NOW is building a foundation that will sustain Fairleigh Dickinson long into the future,” said Reiss. “We are a better University because thousands of our alumni and friends have determined to make us better through their generosity. As we head into the homestretch of this campaign, we will continue to rely upon the collective strength and wisdom of our community. Together, we can fulfill the University’s tremendous potential.”
